Demountable structures can be constructed using 2d composite elements (pre-assembled walls, cassette roofs) as well as conventional steel A-Frame structures fitted with a variety of wall formats (PVC, composite, glazed) using inflated roofs to meet wind and snow loading regulations, or they can be 3D volumetric modular solutions.
Demountable temporary or permanent structures can be used to create temporary trading space, additional retail storage space or temporary warehousing for seasonal stock – without the need for foundations and, subject to the length of time in situ, without expensive and protracted planning permissions required.
Accio Consult & Construct has pioneered the use of a unique Leg Foundation System which allows for each individual supporting leg unit to set at precise heights. The leg plates sit directly on to the existing surface (e.g. a car park), with no foundations required, set to precise heights to level off the effect of gradients.
Detailed GeoTech surveys are conducted prior to placement and loading on the foundation pads or leg plates, taking into account bore hole survey analysis and compaction testing to arrive at exact loading calculations.
Other demountable techniques can be used to anchor temporary structures in place, in accordance with building regulations.
